To be released 4/13/26

Renton Historical Society & Genealogy is excited to announce a monumental step forward with the purchase of the historic Snoqualmie Falls Substation, located in downtown Renton at 1025 S. 3rd Street. Built in 1898, this landmark structure will become the Society’s new permanent home. The new facility will house our main office and provide dedicated storage for our collection of over 40,000 artifacts. This new location will expand our capacity to offer essential community services, including historical education programs, genealogy and scanning assistance, and comprehensive research services.

According to Society President Carrie Bergquist, “This expansion is a vital step in protecting Renton’s historical legacy.”

Mark your calendars: Please join us at the Annual Member Meeting on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2 pm.
