RHS is the steward of over 45,000 physical artifacts that serve to capture life in Renton over time. Each object has unique needs which require specific materials, handling and storage facilities. We are actively reorganizing to make more room for artifacts as well as seeking additional space.
We moved!
RHS artifacts were removed from the Renton History Museum in the summer of 2025 to allow for the museum's pending renovation. We’re seeking new facilities to house our artifacts to grow our local impact. Join the email list to stay tuned for updates.
The Annex
The annex is a 1,200 square foot warehouse space where large artifacts are stored. Read more about the expansion study conducted by engineer Eric Tuazon.
Renton Technical College Annex
This is a rented office space where RHS leadership can schedule appointments to meet with the community. We currently house RHS’s past documentation, a large portion of our artifacts, display cases, and merchandise here. Visit us during our standard open hours: Tuesday through Friday between 1 & 4 pm (except holidays.) Or reach out to us on our contact page to set up a date and time.
